Principal Consultant

Nathan Halladay is a Principal Consultant with PowerGEM. He currently provides primary development and oversight related to the PowerGEM AFC/ATC Calculator (PAAC) application, as well as the Excel-based PAAC Viewer. He also provides support and oversight related to implementation and administration of the TARA Automated Model Builder (AMB) process as it relates to the overall PowerGEM AFC/ATC calculation process.

Prior to joining PowerGEM, Mr. Halladay worked for over twelve years as an Engineer/Sr. Engineer with the PJM Interconnection. At PJM, he worked in a variety of transmission planning capacities, such as performing near-term transmission outage evaluation, contributing to internal PJM operating studies, participating in and chairing the MEN and VEM inter-regional study groups, and performing feasibility studies for generator interconnection requests. Mr. Halladay has extensive experience with load flow, short circuit, and dynamic stability analysis stemming from efforts related to internal and inter-regional planning studies, and generator interconnection requests.

Nathan Halladay holds a B.S. degree in Physics from Grinnell College (IA), and a B.S. degree in Electric Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
